By downloading, installing, or using Photo: Image Resize & Compress (the "App"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must not download, install, or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Photo: Image Resize & Compress ("we," "our," or "us").
Photo: Image Resize & Compress is developed and published by Shravas Digital. References to "we," "our," or "us" throughout these Terms refer to Shravas Digital.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf, particularly for any Pro subscription purchases. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access to any user we reasonably believe does not meet these requirements.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a device you own or control. This license does not permit you to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the App, except as permitted by applicable law.
All content, features, functionality, source code, design, trademarks, and logos of the App are owned by Shravas Digital (operating under the name "Photo: Image Resize & Compress") or licensors thereof, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws worldwide. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. Any unauthorized use of the App's intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of your access and legal action.
The App processes your images locally on your device. We do not access, view, upload, collect, or store any of your images on our servers. You retain full ownership and copyright of any images you process using the App.
You are solely and entirely responsible for:
We disclaim all liability for copyright infringement, privacy violations, or any illegal or unauthorized content processed by you on your personal device. We have no ability to monitor, review, or control content processed locally on your device and undertake no obligation to do so.
You agree not to use the App to:
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action, including suspension or termination of access and reporting to law enforcement, against anyone who violates this section.
The App offers optional "Pro" features via monthly/annual subscriptions or a lifetime one-time purchase. This App is currently distributed exclusively through the Google Play Store, and our subscription infrastructure is securely managed through Google Play and validated by RevenueCat. If the App becomes available through additional app marketplaces in the future (such as Apple's App Store), purchases made through those marketplaces will be subject to that marketplace's applicable terms and billing policies in addition to these Terms.
The App performs all image processing, including batch operations on RAW and other large file formats, locally on your device rather than on remote servers. This gives you full privacy but also means the App's performance depends directly on your device's hardware capabilities.
For the best experience, especially when using Batch Resize on multiple large or high-resolution images (including RAW/NEF files), we recommend:
Devices with lower specifications — such as 2–3GB RAM or limited/near-full storage — may experience slower processing speeds, temporary unresponsiveness during large batch jobs, incomplete operations, or automatic termination of background processing by the device's operating system. This is a limitation of the device's available hardware resources rather than a defect in the App.
We are not responsible for processing delays, failures, or interruptions caused by insufficient device RAM, storage space, or by the operating system's own resource or battery management restricting background activity. If you experience performance issues, we recommend closing other running apps, freeing up storage space, and keeping the App open and active in the foreground during large batch operations, as noted in our in-app Help Guide.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OUTPUT PRODUCED BY THE APP, INCLUDING IMAGE QUALITY OR FILE SIZE ACCURACY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Photo: Image Resize & Compress, ITS DEVELOPER(S), OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD $10).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Photo: Image Resize & Compress, its developer(s), and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any content you process, generate, or distribute using the App.
We may from time to time release updates to the App to add features, improve performance, fix bugs, or address security issues. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality of the App, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice. We are not obligated to maintain, support, or continue offering any particular version, feature, or functionality of the App indefinitely.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet or telecommunications outages, changes to third-party platforms or operating systems (including Android OS or Google Play), government actions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, infringes third-party rights, or is fraudulent or illegal. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Device Requirements & Performance, Disclaimer of Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law — shall survive any termination of these Terms.
You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including those of the country in which you reside, in connection with your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms.
We encourage you to first contact us at the email below to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, both parties agree that any such dispute shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction identified in Section 18, and both parties waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This App is available for use globally; however, any disputes arising from these Terms will be handled exclusively under the laws and courts of India, except where prohibited by applicable local consumer protection law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Photo: Image Resize & Compress regarding your use of the App, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
