Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026 • Published by Shravas Digital

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SalaryMate, a mobile application developed and published by Shravas Digital ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information.

SalaryMate is engineered with a Local-First Architecture. Salary, attendance, overtime, deduction, allowance, expense, and related records entered into the app are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

SalaryMate does use third-party services, including Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand app usage and improve reliability. These services may collect app, device, installation, usage, crash, and diagnostic information as described below.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

SalaryMate may store information that you enter or generate within the app, including:

This information is processed locally by the app. SalaryMate does not transmit your salary amounts, attendance records, overtime records, expense records, payslip contents, or employee/company names to Shravas Digital's servers. These records are not intentionally included in Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics telemetry.

3. Backup and File Export

SalaryMate allows you to manually export or restore your app data using supported local files.

Depending on the feature you use, you may export:

These exports are initiated by you and are saved to a location selected or controlled through the device file system. You are responsible for protecting exported files after they leave the app, including files stored in shared folders, cloud storage, email, or messaging applications.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

SalaryMate uses the following Google Firebase services:

Google Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics helps us understand how users interact with SalaryMate and which features are used. Depending on app configuration, Firebase Analytics may collect:

SalaryMate is configured so that user-entered salary amounts, employee names, company names, expense descriptions, attendance records, and other financial record contents are not intentionally included in Analytics events or parameters.

Google Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics helps us identify crashes and stability problems. Crashlytics may collect:

SalaryMate does not intentionally place salary amounts, employee names, company names, expense descriptions, attendance records, or other financial record contents into Crashlytics logs, custom keys, user identifiers, or crash reports.

When Firebase Analytics is enabled, Crashlytics may also use Analytics breadcrumb logs to provide context about actions occurring immediately before a crash. SalaryMate is configured so that these events do not intentionally contain user-entered salary, attendance, expense, employee, company, or other financial-record contents.

Data Sharing and Third-Party Processing

SalaryMate does not sell personal information and does not intentionally share salary, attendance, overtime, expense, payslip, employee, or company information with third parties. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics process the app, device, installation, usage, crash, and diagnostic information described above to provide analytics and crash-reporting services. Firebase may process this information on Google's infrastructure and according to Google's applicable service terms and privacy documentation.

5. Data Transmission and Security

SalaryMate's locally stored salary, attendance, overtime, expense, and payslip records are not automatically uploaded to a cloud server.

Information transmitted by Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics is sent using the security mechanisms provided by Firebase/Google, including encrypted network transport where applicable. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app and its third-party services. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Android Permissions

SalaryMate may request permissions or system capabilities necessary for its features:

7. Data Retention

Local SalaryMate Data

Locally stored SalaryMate records remain on your device until you:

Uninstalling the application removes the app's locally stored data according to Android's application data management behavior.

Firebase Telemetry Retention

Firebase Analytics retention for user-level and event-level data is controlled by applicable Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics property settings (such as configurable user/event retention periods). Firebase currently states that Crashlytics retains crash stack traces, associated identifiers, and related crash data for approximately 90 days before beginning the removal process.

8. Data Deletion

SalaryMate does not allow users to create a SalaryMate user account and does not maintain a server-side account containing salary, attendance, or expense records. You can delete locally stored SalaryMate records through the app's in-app Reset All Data functionality.

Because SalaryMate does not maintain a user account or server-side database containing your salary, attendance, overtime, or expense records, there is no server-side SalaryMate account requiring account deletion. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics telemetry is handled separately by the applicable Google/Firebase services according to their retention and deletion mechanisms.

9. Children's Privacy

SalaryMate is designed for working adults and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at Jasu1070@gmail.com.

10. Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable data-protection law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, which may include access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. Because SalaryMate's primary records are stored locally on your device, you can manage and export those records directly through the app where supported. Contact us at Jasu1070@gmail.com for data inquiry requests.

11. Third-Party Services

SalaryMate uses Google Firebase services. You can review Google's applicable privacy information and Firebase documentation for additional details regarding how these services process data. Third-party services may update their practices, documentation, or retention periods from time to time.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when SalaryMate's features, data practices, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements change. The Last Updated date at the beginning of this policy will be updated when material changes are made.
