1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SalaryMate, you agree to these Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms") provided by Shravas Digital.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of SalaryMate and uninstall the application immediately. These Terms apply to your use of the SalaryMate application and any features or services provided through it.

2. App Purpose

SalaryMate is a personal calculation and record-keeping utility designed to help users track attendance, record overtime hours, estimate salary and earnings, configure allowances and deductions, track expenses, generate PDF salary slips/reports, and export locally stored information.

SalaryMate is a personal calculation tool and is not an employer payroll system, accounting service, tax filing service, banking service, financial institution, or government agency.

3. Calculation Disclaimer

SalaryMate calculations are based strictly on information and configurations entered by the user. Calculated salary, deductions, overtime, PF, ESIC, HRA, tax-related amounts, and other figures are estimates or user-configured calculations and may differ from actual amounts determined by an employer, payroll provider, government authority, or applicable law.

Factors causing potential differences include employer-specific policies, statutory contribution updates, unrecorded deductions, or incorrect inputs. You are responsible for independently reviewing calculations before relying on them for payroll, tax, employment, or financial decisions.

4. Payslips and Reports

SalaryMate may generate PDF salary slips, attendance reports, expense reports, and CSV exports based on user inputs. These documents are user-generated reports and are not official documents issued or certified by an employer, payroll provider, or government authority. SalaryMate must not be used to create fraudulent payroll records or false salary claims.

5. Pro Subscription & Billing Terms

SalaryMate may offer an optional Pro subscription through Google Play.

Annual Pro Plan

Price: ₹399 per year in India, or the applicable localized price displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase.

The Pro subscription provides access to premium features that are clearly identified in the SalaryMate app at the time of purchase. Depending on the purchased version, these may include premium report/export functionality, smart payslip scanning (OCR), and other premium features.

Only features actually included in the purchased subscription are covered by the subscription.

Subscription Billing and Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. If the Annual Pro Plan is configured as an auto-renewing subscription, Google Play charges the applicable subscription price at the beginning of each annual billing cycle unless the subscription is cancelled before the next renewal date.

The applicable price, billing period, renewal terms, and other material subscription conditions are displayed in the SalaryMate purchase interface and Google Play purchase flow.

Cancellation Policy & Continued Access

You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. SalaryMate also provides a Manage Subscription option for active Pro subscriptions where available.

Important: Uninstalling SalaryMate does NOT cancel an active Google Play subscription. Google Play confirms that uninstalling an app does not automatically cancel its subscription.

After cancellation, you generally retain access to the subscription benefits until the end of the period already paid for, unless a refund or other applicable Google Play rule changes the entitlement.

Refunds

Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google Play's applicable refund policies and applicable law. For eligible purchases, users may request refunds through Google Play. Refund eligibility can depend on factors such as the purchase type and time since purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Local Data Architecture & Backup

SalaryMate operates on a local-first architecture. Salary, attendance, overtime, deduction, allowance, expense, and related records are stored locally on the user's device. Users may manually export supported data to JSON, CSV, or PDF files and are responsible for protecting exported files stored outside SalaryMate.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble SalaryMate; circumvent security or licensing controls; use the app for fraudulent payroll claims; or redistribute/commercially exploit the application without authorization.

8. Intellectual Property

SalaryMate, including software code, UI designs, graphics, logos, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of Shravas Digital and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Third-Party Services

SalaryMate relies on third-party services including Google Play Billing, Google Firebase Analytics, and Google Firebase Crashlytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SalaryMate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Shravas Digital shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.
